Cook / Deli Staff (1 Full-Time Positions Available – Banana Block)

• We’re on the lookout for an enthusiastic, reliable Cook/Deli team members to join our growing team.

  This is a full-time role (5 days per week) Wednesday to Sunday, 9 to 3.30 on average).

  What you’ll be doing:

• Assisting with the creation of seasonal specials

• Making bagel sandwiches to order, quickly and accurately

• Prepping hot and cold food each day, as well as weekly bulk food prep tasks.

• Delivering friendly, efficient customer service in a busy environment

• Handling tills and cash confidently

• Keeping the workspace clean, organised and food-safe at all times

• Working as part of a close-knit team during busy service periods

  What we’re looking for:

• Previous experience in a fast-paced cafe/kitchen environment

• Ability to stay calm, focused and positive during peak hours

• Ability to collaborate in a team environment

• Excellent communication and customer service skills

• A dependable, punctual and proactive attitude

• Sociable working hours

• Level 2 food hygiene certificate is a nice to have, but can be undertaken once started
